"Machine," she said in thought. "What an interesting name."
It was the first time I had heard her speak. I had seen her many times but never had I gotten close enough to hear the high, clear and beautiful noise that came from the warm depths of her throat. It was lovely, like bells softly ringing in the distance of the summer wind. I closed my eyes and sighed at the sound of it. The bells kept peeling.
But nonetheless I didn't dare approach her. I didn't dare approach any of her kind.
Humans they're called. Me...well I'm nothing more than a machine.
